Guernsey in the English Channel has recently been added to the CDC’s list of Level 1 COVID-19 Risk Travel Destinations (i.e. minimum risk locations), which is certainly good reason to celebrate. Unfortunately, though, this change likely originates with the fact that the island requires two weeks of self-isolation and two negative test results from those who come from “Category 4” countries like the U.S. or U.K. If you’d like to go, you’d best be ready to feel like the lighthouse in that picture.
I wouldn’t have too much of a problem with that.
