I managed to take a few above-par photographs while I wandered the little forest by Laguna Lake, San Luis Obispo yesterday.
This park shelter (gazebo?) is located towards the back of the woods, with a bunch of picnic tables underneath. The benches here completely encircle the structure at a short distance–it feels a bit witchy, actually.
This is what the roof looks like from underneath. The sorcery continues.
You can see the lake from there, too, if you look closely.
The rest of the park is far more open, and the forest itself is more of a large tree cluster than anything. But on particularly sunny days (most days, out here), I wouldn’t miss the shade for the world.
