The view across the couch and out the window was a welcome sight this morning. 6+ inches of powder to be ridden! And a very calming picture on its own.Just across the street, however, was this sight. Three cars had drifted into this unfortunate Toyota and its owner. (Don’t worry, he’s fine. I was just talking to him.) The whitened middle section of the road is deceptively slippery–to the point that I drifted about 5 feet down on my own two feet without any moving start. And here’s the way up. You can see where the cop has blocked the road with his car. That’s about where the totaled car began to drift. Somehow the scenic beauty behind it manages to ignore our tiny human problems.
