This photo captures an icefall feeding into Antarctica’s Lambert Glacier, the largest glacier in the world. The glacier is 250 miles long, 50 miles wide, and roughly 8,000 feet deep. For scale: the flowing ice in the center of the photo is just under 4 miles wide.
