I don’t know what on Earth this huge elephant thing is, but I love it. Back in high school I hated rowing on that Schuylkill River, but I loved skating along the path next to it. Just down the river there’s this giant museum. Remember anything about it? The Rocky statue just out of frame might jog your memory. P.S. Those big terraces on either side of the steps are really fun to mess around in.Dammit, I love this park. Rittenhouse Square is surrounded by great restaurants and eateries (some of which are fully vegan, believe it or not), a huge Barnes and Noble, and the narrow old city streets and sidewalks that give a city personality. This is downtown Philly, and it’s wonderful.
